Level 1 Certified Google Educator

In order to receive the Google Certified Educator status, individuals must pass a corresponding Level 1 or Level 2 exam. These exams test you on your ability to use Google for Education tools and apps.

Learning Designer Badge

In order to receive the Learning Designer badge, IDOLs must have a completed portfolio website with at least 3 learning assets (ILT, e-learning, job aids, etc.). IDOLs must also have their assets reviewd by their peers and IDOL Academy coaches.

IDOL Academy

IDOL Academy is an 8-week course designed to guide individuals in the process of transitioning into the instructional design field. Candidates receive the certification credential after completing the 8 weeks and submitting a portfolio of at least 3 work samples.
